Meetthe team

OwnerJoanne Innis

Hi, I’m Jo, Owner of Goldbird.

Basically, I love what I do, always have. I first picked up my scissors 20 years ago and never looked back.

I believe in a natural and ethical approach to hairstyling. We only use Aveda products which are gentle on the body and the planet.

I am so very proud of our salon, what it stands for and all of my very talented team.

Alongside the salon we also specialise in bridal hair. This offers me the opportunity to be more theatrical and creative, indulging my passion for ‘hair up’ styles.

I have the skill, confidence and expertise to understand and fulfill your needs and would very much look forward to meeting you.

managerYasmin Annear

As a dedicated stylist I am eager to keep up to date with current looks and trends.

I like to use social media, magazines and vogue books to constantly improve my knowledge and educate myself on the latest hair fashions and techniques, you can’t beat a bouncy round brush blow-dry!

I love the ethos here, working with purer more natural and environmentally friendly products. I hope you fall in love with them to.

Senior Stylist

Katie Sellers
I am Katie, Senior Stylist at Goldbird.

I have been hairdressing for over 10 years now and and still love it just as much as the day I started.

My mum is also a hairdresser, whom I avidly watched hairdressing from a very young age so I feel it’s in my blood.

I love everything Aveda! From achieving amazing results with the fantastic colours to the gorgeous smells that we get to surround ourselves with everyday!

I am so passionate about my hairdressing, for me it doesn’t feel like work. Helping people transform the way they feel about themselves is so rewarding and I am looking forward to many more years of meeting lovely people in the hairdressing industry.

We are very excited to welcome our newest member of the team, Tamsin. She is our new apprentice stylist and will be joining us in early September.

Morgan assists our stylists on Saturday’s. She is in her final year at Penair school and has already decided to follow a career in hairdressing.
